Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate is a pale yellow viscous liquid, easily soluble in water, featuring excellent cleansing, emulsifying, and foaming properties. It has superior thickening capabilities and foaming ability. For instance, adding 2% to 5% sodium chloride can easily increase the viscosity of SLES systems.

It is mainly used in shampoos, shower gels, detergents, hand sanitizers, and other washing products, and can also be utilized for high-grade tableware, laundry products, and cosmetics.

It is a kind of anionic surfactant with excellent performance. It has good cleaning, emulsifying, wetting, densifying, and foaming performance, with good solvency, wide compatibility, strong resistance to hard water, high biodegradation, and low irritation to skin and eyes.

It is widely used in liquid detergents, such as dishware, shampoo, bubble bath, and hand cleaners. AES can also be used in washing powders and detergents for heavy duty dirt. Using AES to replace LAS allows phosphate to be saved or reduced, and the general dosage of active matter is minimized.
